On Location at Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado
Here are some pictures from one of my trips to Rocky Mountain National
Park. If you have never been there you need to plan a trip soon.
Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado is one of my favorite places.
This photo was taken at 12,005 feet above sea level. Even though it's
the first week in September it gets a bit chilly.
The alpine tundra has to be experienced to be fully
appreciated. The scenic views, wildlife sightings and
wildflower exhibitions are amazing. At it's highest
points, however, there is not much life other than what
you see here on the rocks.
The quaking aspen and its shimmering leaves are a wonderful
source of beauty in early September. Here I am taking a break
admiring the scenery.
